Nicolette Ardiente

Nicolette M. Ardiente may not be a native Texan, but she officially became a proud Texan in 2012. Originally from the NY/NJ area, San Antonio became her home alongside her partner Marty and their lovable cat, Butters. She graduated from NJ’s Seton Hall University with her BS in IR and Diplomacy with a minor in French. She is currently working on her M.A. in IR - Security Policy from St. Mary’s University.
A daughter of immigrants, Nicolette is an activist, organizer and advocate for the San Antonio and South Texas community. She strives to fight for the expansion of voter rights & education to build a more equitable and representative government for all. Fueled by progress and commitment to community, Nicolette is a volunteer deputy registrar (VDR) in 7 counties across South Texas; she is the San Antonio Regional Lead for Asian Texans for Justice; and she is also the President of Bexar County Young Democrats. Nicolette is thrilled to amplify voices alongside many other community advocates and leaders who care about making a difference in San Antonio and South Texas! Her most recent accomplishment was graduating from the New Leaders Council (San Antonio Chapter) in the 2022 Cohort.
