Navid Zanjani

Board Member

Navid Zanjani is a political, data, and development strategist. Navid has been an outstanding leader in his community, from being on the boards of local and national cultural foundations to working to elect the Mayor of Houston and the President of the United States. Navid has always been passionate about giving back to his community. 

He gained his first experience in community organizing and campaigning during the 2008 elections while he was a staffer for President Barack Obama. Following the election, he joined the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and continued working in politics until he became the Executive Director of the Harris County Democratic Party in the third largest county in the nation. He then took his talent to work with Nextdoor, Houston Council Member Robert Gallegos and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. Since working at the City of Houston, he has worked on various campaigns, from being the Chief Digital Strategist for a state-wide Attorney General campaign to Political Director for Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher and, most recently, the Biden for President Campaign. He was part of the national organizing staff for the Biden-Harris campaign and a National Chair Member for Biden’s National Affinity Camp; Ethnic Council. He specializes in data analysis, project management, fundraising development, and leadership development.

 He recently left his position as Senior Development Specialist for the Muslim Public Affairs Council to join the Beto for Texas campaign as Regional Political Director.
